Irish Glass workers to lose their jobs

The 375 workers at the Irish Glass bottling plant in Dublin are to lose their jobs after the company’s owners decided to close the factory.

Management and unions had negotiated a survival plan for the plant at the Labour Relations Commission earlier this year.
