Labour brings campaign to Dun Laoghaire

Labour is campaigning in Dun Laoghaire and South Dublin today.

Party leader, Ruairi Quinn, started his day greeting early morning DART commuters at Dun Laoghaire station on their way to work.

Their main objectives today is to try to ensure the re-election of Niamh Breathnach in Dun Laoghaire and Eithne Fitzgerald in Dublin South to the Dail.

Breathnach is fighting on her record as Education Minister in the last Government.

She is attacking current Minister Michael Woods and accused him of "allowing the long teachers dispute to fester".

Ruairi Quinn has also been joined today by outgoing TD, Eamonn Gilmore.
