Fine Gael campaign moves to the Midlands
The Fine Gael campaign moves to the Midlands today.
At 10.30am Michael Noonan will visit Mullingar General hospital where the party's health proposals will be discussed.
The Party is expected to focus on staff cuts, low moral and lengthy waiting lists.
Michael Noonan will then go on walkabout throughout the town and then visit election office of sitting TD, Paul McGrath.
He is hoping Nicky McFadden can win an extra seat for the party in the Westmeath constituency.
The roadshow then continues to Laois-Offaly where he will visit the office of sitting TD, Charlie Flanagan, the constituency where it is hoped Olwyn Enright can win the seat of her retired father, Tom.
The campaign then moves to Naas before it moves onto Leitrim later tonight.
