Green party launch manifesto

The Green party have launched their manifesto from Dublin.

Their idea of an alternative government would be to strengthen public services. The party is proposing to raise taxes on business and use the money to improve public services.

The Greens claim that the proposed increases in corporation tax would collect one billion euro to fund health, education and public services.

They also propose to raise the funds with a 5% levy on the profits of financial institutions.
