The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has sharply criticised Ireland’s budgetary policies in its latest economic outlook report.

The outlook says Ireland’s swift transition from sizeable structural surplus to small deficit was "inappropriately large" and suggests a weak budgetary system.
