McCreevy praises PDs' economic proposals

Finance Minister Charlie McCreevy has praised the Progressive Democrats’ election manifesto, saying its economic proposals were sensible and prudent.

The PDs plan to privatise Aer Lingus, the ESB, Bord Gais and the major commercial ports and use the money raised to fund infrastructural programmes.
