Man killed in Co Dublin road accident

A motorcyclist has died in Howth in Co Dublin this afternoon.

The man, who was in his forties, died when his motorcycle collided with a car on the Carrickbrack Road at about 5pm.

He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the car received no injuries in the accident.
