Red Cross seeks funds for Palestinians

The Irish Red Cross has issued an appeal for funds to help supply food and medicines to the Palestinian people.

Aid agencies in the occupied territories have described the situation in towns like Jenin and Nablus as "devastating".

David Andrews, the chairman of the Red Cross in Ireland, said the suffering of the Palestinian people cannot be underestimated.
