Taoiseach refutes poverty claim

The Taoiseach has refuted a report published today by the Combat Poverty Agency which claims that after the government's term in office, the same number of people remain on the poverty line.

The study also suggests that the top 10% of earners received a quarter of all the benefits provided in the budget.
