The number of crimes against visitors to Ireland is falling, but they are becoming more serious, according to a new report from the Tourist Victim Support Service.

The survey, published this morning, also shows that almost three quarters of tourist crime referrals are from the Dublin area and that larceny accounts for the majority of the crimes.
