Independent Abbeylara inquiry announced by Minister

An independent inquiry is to be established into the events surrounding the death of John Carthy in Abbeylara two years ago.

Justice Minister John O'Donoghue announced the decision today. He said he hoped the inquiry would be up and running within the year.
