Queen to visit Northern Ireland

The Queen is to visit the North next month as part of her Golden Jubilee, the Northern Secretary John Reid announced today.

She will attend garden parties at Hillsborough Castle, Co Down and Loughry Agriculture College, Co Antrim.

Other engagements on May 13 to May 15 include a service at St Anne's Church of Ireland Cathedral, Belfast, to mark her Jubilee. The Queen will be accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh.
