Boy dies after Dublin fire
A three-year-old boy has died following a fire in Dublin city centre this morning.
The child was taken to hospital suffering from bad burns and smoke inhalation after the blaze on Ross Rd, near Kevin St. His twin sister is still fighting for her life at Our Lady's Hospital in Crumlin.
Another sister, a six-year-old, was also admitted to hospital, although she was less seriously injured. The children's mother, a babysitter and a neighbour, along with two firemen, also received medical treatment.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
