McAleese and Council of State to discuss controversial Housing Bill

President Mary McAleese will hold talks with the Council of State today to discuss whether to refer the controversial Housing Bill to the Supreme Court to test its constitutionality.

Traveller representatives wrote to the President asking her not to sign the bill because, they said, it discriminates against travellers.
