Pedestrian killed in Limerick

A pedestrian has died after a road accident in Co Limerick.

A car at Daly’s cross near Castleconnell struck a man in his mid thirties just after 1am this morning.

The man was declared dead on arrival at the MidWest Regional Hospital.

Reports indicate the victim was from Galway.

Gardai have not released the man’s name as of yet.
