ASTI to debate call to rejoin ICTU

The Association of Secondary Teachers is expected to debate calls for it to rejoin the Irish Congress of Trade Unions when its annual conference resumes in Bundoran, Co Donegal today.

Five branches of the ASTI submitted the motion calling on delegates to re-affiliate with the ICTU in the interests of their own union.
