The Food Safety Authority has shut down two restaurants on public health grounds.

The Dragon Court Chinese restaurant in Galway was ordered to close last month, while Molloys in Monkstown, Co Dublin, shut a week after being handed a warning.

FSA spokesman Peter Whelan said more outlets will face closure if they fail to comply with basic health and safety rules.
