Two victims of road accidents named

Gardai have released the names of the two people killed on Irish roads on Bank Holiday Monday.

Nineteen-year-old Gary Connolly from Tyholland in Co Monaghan was in the back seat of a car that was involved in a crash in Clones in Co Monaghan in the early hours of this morning.

The other person to die in a road accident today was 22-year-old Sean Mulligan.

The body of Mr Mulligan was found in the wreckage of a car at Aughnacliff in Co Longford at 7.45am.
