Ireland gives warning at UN meeting

Ireland has told the United Nations Security Council that it is impossible to exaggerate the gravity of the situation in the Middle East and the threat it represents to international peace and security.

Our Ambassador, Richard Ryan, made his remarks, as the council demanded that Israel immediately pull out its forces out of Palestinian towns.
