Murdered priest to be buried today

The funeral of Fr Declan O’Toole, who was murdered last week in Uganda will take place today in Headford, Co Galway.

His body was flown home from the capital Kampala yesterday afternoon.

The 31-year-old missionary priest was shot dead in the parish of Kotido a week ago by two Ugandan soldiers who were tried and executed on Sunday.
