One man has been taken to hospital this afternoon after a serious accident on the N7 motorway in Co Kildare.

One man has been taken to hospital this afternoon after a serious accident on the N7 motorway in Co Kildare.

The accident occurred outside Monasterevin when an articulated lorry overturned and crashed into a ditch at about 1.30pm.

Emergency crews from Monasterevin, Naas and Newbridge were quickly on the scene and the injured man was quickly removed to hospital.
