Martin rules out decision on Hep C tribunal

The Minister for Health has said no decision on a second tribunal into the Hepatitis C scandal will be taken at cabinet today.

A report by a legal expert into the role of US drug companies in the contamination of blood products is being presented to senior ministers.

Micheal Martin is to meet with the Irish Haemophiliac Society to discuss the report's findings. He said part of the inquiry will be published.
