Belfast business park ‘could create 2,000 jobs’
Authorities in the North have given Belfast International Airport permission to develop a business park adjacent to the airport with the potential to generate 2,000 jobs.
The airport announced today that it has secured planning permission for the development of 500,000 square feet for mixed commercial use on 180 acres within the airport site.
Belfast International and its parent company, TBI, had been in talks with government officials in relation to the plans for some time. It said the Genesis Business Park will be developed over five years and could potentially create 2,000 jobs once complete.
