ASTI to consider rejoining ICTU

The Association of Secondary Teachers will debate a motion on rejoining the Irish Congress of Trade Unions when it meets in Bundoran for its annual convention next month.

If passed, the motion would reflect badly on the ASTI’s current leadership, which has been facing criticism for its handling of the union’s 30% pay claim.
