Fine Gael leader Michael Noonan has made a raft of pre-election promises in relation to health.

Speaking in Dublin today, Mr Noonan said he will double the income limits for medical cards and will extend free GP services to people in the lower 60% of income groups, to children up to the age of 18, to everyone aged over 65 and to all asthma sufferers.
