The Labour Party has said that the public can have no confidence in the Attorney General’s inquiry into the fiasco surrounding the aquatic centre under construction in west Dublin.

The Taoiseach has appointed Michael McDowell to investigate how the Government awarded the contract for the aquatic centre to a consortium led by a British firm with assets of just stg£4.
