Students throw eggs at McGuinness
A small group of unionist students threw eggs this afternoon at the North's education minister, Martin McGuinness.
Mr McGuinness had just finished giving a speech to 250 students at Queen's University when the incident took place.
He accused the students, whom he said were DUP members, of running scared from Sinn Fein's arguments for a united Ireland.
Mr McGuinness said he was confident they would in time decide to enter into a mature debate about the future of Ireland and their actions had not stopped a useful meeting taking place.
