Greens question coalition ethics

The Green Party has hit out at the ethics of the Government at its party's annual convention in Cork.

Dublin Southeast TD John Gormley accused Fianna Fail of putting big business before society, and said the Progressive Democrats are guilty of sacrificing principles for power.

The Greens have also had their first ever address from a party leader at such a convention.

Trevor Sargent said voters are concerned about political sleaze can be guaranteed integrity by the Greens.
