Two men are being treated in hospital in the North today after being shot in paramilitary-style punishment attacks last night.

Two men are being treated in hospital in the North today after being shot in paramilitary-style punishment attacks last night.

A 21-year-old man was shot in both hands and both legs in a late-night attack in Butler Place, in the Ardoyne area of north Belfast.

A 24-year-old man was shot in the leg in Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, by two masked men who approached him as he walked down the street.
