Woman killed in Co Tipperary road accident

A woman in her thirties has become this weekend’s fifth victim of the Irish roads after she was killed on the N24 road from Limerick to Tipperary.

The woman was driving her car when she collided with a jeep at ten past three this afternoon.

The driver’s mother and three women were also in the car and are now in a critical condition in hospital.

The female driver of the jeep and her children have also been taken to hospital.
