Road accident victims still not named

Gardai have still not named the man and woman who died in separate road accidents in Co Sligo and Dublin yesterday.

A 29-year-old man died when his van crashed into a car at South Cairns in Co Sligo, while a 22-year-old female pedestrian died after being knocked down on the Beaumont Road in Churchtown, Dublin.
