Search for missing youth continues in Co Donegal

The search for a 15-year-old boy who disappeared in Co Donegal last weekend resumed at first light today.

Brendan Rushe, from Castlederg in Co Tyrone, was last seen at around 4am on Monday morning, when he told gardai in Donegal town that he was getting the bus home after attending a local disco.

Gardai have brought in sniffer dogs and underwater divers to assist in the search, which is currently concentrated on the west coast of Donegal.

Hundreds of Gardai and locals are involved in the search in Co Donegal, while British soldiers are also helping efforts on the Co Tyrone side of the border.

The teenager’s mother, Colette Rushe, has already admitted that hopes of finding her son alive are fading.
