Man dies in suspicious circumstances in Cavan

Gardai in Co Cavan are investigating the suspicious death of a Lithuanian man in a factory outside Cootehill.

Shortly after 8.30pm last night, gardai from Bailieboro were called to the scene of an incident in the factory on the edge of the town.

As a result, two Lithuanian men were brought to Cavan General Hospital, where one died at 12.30am this morning.

The nature of either man's injuries are not known, and gardai have sought the help of the State pathologist.
