Ahern defends status of morning after pill

The Taoiseach has told the Dail that there is no criminal or constitutional doubt about the morning after pill.

Bertie Ahern's comments are in conflict with the Referendum Commission, which insists the pill's constitutional status would remain uncertain irrespective of the result of the abortion vote.
