Ahern defends coalition health record

The Taoiseach has defended the Government's record on health as nurses prepare to ballot for industrial action over accident and emergency ward working conditions.

Bertie Ahern came under attack from the Opposition in the Dail, following revelations that a survey of six hospitals yesterday found 109 A&E patients on trolleys.
