A national campaign is being launched to increase state funding of physical and sensory disability services.

A national campaign is being launched to increase state funding of physical and sensory disability services.

Nine organisations have come together to safeguard services for 40,000 people with disabilities.

In last year’s budget, €38m was promised to fund new projects but this year it was revealed the amount had been cut to around €6.4m.

A number of organisations have now joined together, including the Rehab Group, Gandon Enterprises, Cheshire Homes and the Wheelchair Association, to call for the Government to reconsider their decision.
