Man remains in custody in Isle of Man

Police in the Isle of Man are still holding a man on suspicion of a double murder of an Irish girl and her friend.

Teenager Samantha Barton, who was born and lived in Dublin, and George Green were strangled near the capital Douglas a week ago.

They had both been in care. A local man was arrested yesterday morning and is continuing to be questioned.
