Postal workers discuss threatening letter

Postal workers are meeting in Derry to decide whether to disrupt deliveries after a threatening letter was sent to staff.

The letter named 11 people and ordered them not to come into the Protestant Waterside area of the city.

Among the named were five Catholic workers, four of their Protestant colleagues and two members of management, one Catholic and one Protestant.

Staff in the city have already gone on strike twice this year, once after colleague Daniel McColgan was shot in Belfast and again when a non-specific threat was made earlier this month.
