Assembly supports golden jubilee souvenir motion

The Northern Assembly has passed a motion calling for every primary school pupil in the six counties to be given a souvenir to mark Queen Elizabeth of Britain’s golden jubilee.

The DUP-tabled motion was passed by 26 votes to 11 after both the UUP and the SDLP abstained from the vote.
