The Minister for Education, Michael Woods, has met with parents representative groups to give them an unqualified guarantee that all necessary resources will be allocated to ensure that schools are not affected by the upcoming teachers dispute.

Members of the ASTI teachers union are threatening industrial action in the shape of withdrawing teacher’s supervision and substitution duties from the fourth of March.
