Chinese national murdered in Limerick

Gardai in Limerick have launched a murder inquiry following the fatal stabbing of a Chinese national last night.

The victim, who was in his 30s, was stabbed during an altercation at a Chinese restaurant on Main Street in Patrickswell at around 11.30pm.

A post mortem is due to be carried out later today.

Another man was also injured in the row and is recovering in Limerick Regional Hospital.

Gardai are questioning five Chinese nationals in connection with the incident.
