Teachers' strike will be covered says Minister

The Minister for Education, Dr Michael Woods has said he is confident that contingency plans to provide supervision and substitution services in secondary schools will be implemented in time to avert disruption to students.

On Friday ASTI voted to reject the government’s €34 per hour pay offer for carrying out these duties.
