Severe weather conditions reported throughout Ireland

Met Eireann has advised people not to venture outdoors today unless it is absolutely necessary.

Heavy rains and high winds have been reported throughout Ireland this morning, with 60mph winds on the east coast and 80mph on the west and south-west coasts.
