Nestle's proposed relocation may cost jobs

Nestle, the world's largest food manufacturer, is to sell its factory in Tallaght.

The factory makes products such as Chef, Fruitfield and Silvermints.

The company, which employs 310 people, is relocating to Citywest in Dublin, but will be taking only 132 staff to its new facility.

Nestle said it hopes to secure jobs for the remaining workers when a buyer is found for the factory.
