Nigerian groom gets deportation breather

A Nigerian man, who was arrested on his wedding day after his application for asylum had been rejected, has won a reprieve in the High Court.

Sfemi Adisoji was due to be deported when he was taken into custody minutes before tying the knot with his Irish bride-to-be at Carlow Registry Office.
