Poll shows 40% support for Nice Treaty
An opinion poll published this morning has shown a rise in support for the Nice Treaty.
40% of those questioned in the MRBI poll said they would vote ‘yes’ in another Nice referendum, while 29% would vote ‘no’.
22% said they are still undecided about the treaty, while 9% said they would not vote.
Last June, the Nice Treaty was rejected by 54% of the Irish electorate, but the turnout was less than 35%.
