A three-year-old boy has died from injuries he sustained in a three-vehicle pile-up on the Carlow to Kilkenny road earlier this week.

A three-year-old boy has died from injuries he sustained in a three-vehicle pile-up on the Carlow to Kilkenny road earlier this week.

The boy, who has not been named, was taken to St Luke’s Hospital in Dublin along with two others after the car they were travelling in collided with two trucks near Loughlin Bridge in Co Carlow on Wednesday afternoon.
