Anaesthetists meet to discuss strike action

Anaesthetists from hospitals throughout Ireland are meeting this afternoon to decide what form of strike action to undertake in their dispute over working practices.

The junior doctors, who are represented by the Irish Medical Organisation, voted in favour of the strike by a 96% majority before Christmas.
