Chinese man dies after assault in Dublin
A Chinese man has died after an assault in north Dublin.
The 29-year-old was attacked on Monday by a group of Irish youths at Beaumont Grove in the city as he walked home with a friend.
It is understood the man who was fatally injured was hit over the head a number of times with an iron bar.
He was rushed to Beaumont Hospital, but lost his fight for life last night.
Two youths have been arrested in connection with the attack, but were released without charge.
A file has been sent to the DPP.
Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to the attack to come forward.
