High tobacco use among schoolchildren, says survey

A new survey shows that over half of all school children in the eastern part of the country have smoked cigarettes.

A new tobacco control strategy for three health boards in the east shows that the number who have smoked increases with age, from under 16% of 10-11 year olds to over 50% of 12-14 year olds.
